Training at GMFiT

 

At GMFiT, we focus on building strength, improving conditioning, and helping you train in a way that delivers long-term results.

 

Our sessions are coach-led, structured, and designed to develop both strength and fitness together — not one at the expense of the other.

 

 The method

 

The GMFiT Approach

 

All of our classes follow a Hybrid training approach.

 

This means every session includes both strength training and conditioning, with the focus shifting depending on the day.

 

Some sessions place more emphasis on lifting, others more on conditioning — but the goal remains the same:

build strength, improve fitness, and move well.

 

Class types

 

Hybrid (Strength Focus)

A full-body training session with a greater emphasis on strength development.

 

Sessions are built around structured lifting, using barbells, dumbbells, and compound movements, followed by conditioning to support overall fitness.

 

Expect:

• Structured strength training

• Coach-led lifting

• Progressive overload

• Conditioning to finish

 

Ideal if you enjoy lifting weights, improving technique, and getting stronger — while continuing to build your conditioning.

Hybrid (Conditioning Focus)

 

A high-energy, full-body session with a greater emphasis on conditioning, while still building strength.

 

Each session begins with a key lift before moving into circuit based training, combining resistance exercises and conditioning to keep intensity high.

Expect:

• A strength lift at the start

• 6–8 station circuits

• Resistance and conditioning combined

• A strong group training atmosphere

Ideal if you enjoy fast-paced sessions and variety, without losing the strength element.

Hybrid (Mixed)

 

A varied, full-body session combining strength and conditioning in different formats each week.

 

Sessions may focus more on lifting, more on conditioning, or a balanced mix of both — keeping training challenging and engaging.

 

Expect:

• Full-body workouts

• Varied formats and rep schemes

• Strength and conditioning combined

• A strong community feel

 

Ideal if you enjoy variety, challenge, and training as part of a group.

BLITZFiT

 

BlitzFiT

(Small Group Training)

 

BlitzFiT is our premium small-group personal training option, its the closest experience  to personal training but delivered in a small group environment, designed for those who want a higher level of coaching, structure, and progression.

 

Sessions are delivered in small groups of up to 4 people, allowing for more coaching time, individualised loading, and tailored progressions, while still training in a motivating group environment.

 

The focus in BlitzFiT is primarily on strength training and structured progression, with sessions built around lifting and developing technique over time.

 

Unlike our classes, BlitzFiT is less about fast paced conditioning work and more about quality coaching, controlled training, and long-term progress.

 

BlitzFiT follows the same GMFiT training philosophy strength and conditioning, but with a greater emphasis on strength development, structured lifting, and long term progression, alongside a higher level of personalisation and coaching.
